Mamsellen in the Stable Café
This summer you will find Mamsellen in the Stable Café. Here you can enjoy sandwiches, home baked cakes and other wonderful delicacies. Birgit Nilsson Museum and the Stable Café are open from June 25 to September 1, 11 am to 5 pm.
Open during spring
Already in the spring, Mamsellen moves into the Stable Café and will be open 11 am-4 pm on the following dates.
May 9-12, May 17-19, May 25-26 and June 1-2 and June 6-9.

In the farm’s old stable
The stable has been carefully renovated and has been preserved in as original condition as possible. The stable’s brick floor is the same as in Birgit’s time and the heretics remain, as a time document as well as a reminder of Birgit’s roots.
In this very stable, Birgit milked the cows the evening before she left for Stockholm to take the entrance exam for the Royal Academy of Music’s solo singing class.
Indoors and outdoors
In a beautiful, peaceful and genuine environment, we serve, among other things, nutritious sandwiches and various home-baked cakes, including our popular Aidatårta, made according to Birgit’s own recipe. Sit down in one of the pig pens and look out over the courtyard or the lush greenery of the meadows.
If the weather allows, it can be nice to take coffee out, to one of our cafe tables in the courtyard.
Around the farm we have a wireless network, so-called Wi-Fi, available to our visitors.Om vädret tillåter kan det vara skönt att ta med fikat ut, till ett av våra kafébord på gårdsplanen.
Runt om gården har vi trådlöst nätverk, så kallat Wi-Fi, tillgängligt för våra besökare.
You can always have a coffee in our fantastic Stable Café without paying admission to the museum.
Birgit Nilsson Museum and the Stable Café are closed but already in the spring, Mamsellen moves into the Stable Café and will be open 11 am-4 pm on the following dates.

Unique café environment
In the farm’s old stable you sit down and enjoy pastries according to Birgit’s own recipe. The stable in which the farm’s cattle once stood are preserved and reminiscent of the past.

Smoking is only allowed at the signposted place by the parking lot.

Do you not tolerate gluten or lactose? Do you have diabetes? Let us know just by talking to our staff – we have something for everyone.
Birgit's specialties
In addition to nutritious sandwiches and various home-baked cakes, we also serve the popular Aidatårtan, which is made according to Birgit’s recipe.
If you are going hiking during the summer we offer a picknick to bring on the trip.
