Birthday, stipendium and the flag at the top! Birgit's birthday (105 years) was celebrated with municipal flag day! At 10:00 the flag was raised as usual together with invited guests. This year's Birgit Nilsson Stipendium holder was announced at 11 at the museum and it went to the mezzo-soprano Ida Ränzlöv who, on August 11, receives SEK 200,000 at a concert in Västra Karup's church as part of the celebration of the Birgit Nilsson days.
