What should I wear?

There is no formal dress code for The Flying Dutchman. The performance takes place outdoors at the Båstad Tennis Stadium and will proceed even in light rain.
We therefore recommend warm, weather-resistant clothing and sturdy footwear. Even during mild summer evenings, temperatures can drop after sunset. Many visitors also choose to bring a light blanket for added comfort.

What may I bring into the venue?

You may bring personal belongings that fit in your pocket, a bag (30×30×10 cm) or smaller, or that you can carry in your hand.

You may bring: For example tickets, wallet, mobile phone, warm jumper, rain jacket, water bottle, pushchair, toiletry bag, bag or carrier that does not exceed 30×30×10 cm.

You may not bring: Umbrellas, your own food or drink except for a water bottle, or items that could pose a danger to the public.
Festival Programme Available for purchase on site.

The concert

The legend tells of a Dutch captain who, during a violent storm, swore a blasphemous oath – and was condemned to sail forever without reaching land. Only through a woman’s faithful love can the curse be broken. Read more about the concert.
