Giuseppe Verdi’s magnificent opera Aida, a Stipendium recital with the 2025 Stipendium holder in Västra Karup’s church, extensive program activities with an exhibition on the theme of Birgit Nilsson and the Home region at the Birgit Nilsson Museum as well as an open masterclass in the Birgit Nilsson hall at the cultural center Ravinen. Everything fits in the Birgit Nilsson Festival 3-9 August 2025!

It is now clear that Verdi’s grand opera Aida will be performed at Tennisstadion Båstad on August 9, 2025. Aida thus follows Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera – the summer’s open air success – which was the first time an opera was performed at Tennisstadion. Aida is also given within the framework of the Birgit Nilsson days.
